Welcome to the Rogue Archery Development Squad!
What is RADS?
The Rogue Archery Development Squad (RADS) is a place for you to come and learn new skills, improve yourself and work towards your goals!
We predominantly focus on recurve archery geared towards competitions.
We have a strong emphasis on team culture, so you will benefit from
your teammates who will share their knowledge / experience, as well
as keep you motivated and accountable towards your goals. You are
also expected to contribute to the team by staying active in the group,
participating in team training & events, and supporting your
teammates along their journey.
As your coach, my background is in competitive recurve archery, and
I have over 18 years of experience shooting at all levels, including
representing Australia, and have coached multiple students from
complete beginners through to national champions. You can find out
more about my qualifications here.
Is RADS for me?
RADS is suited for archers aspiring towards competitions. It's not so important what your current level is, it's more important where you are going!
We have archers from rookies who are still learning the ropes through to experienced athletes, national champions and aspiring elite archers. Basically, if you want to learn and become the best archer you can be, then you're in the right place!
Training sessions are predominantly team based training. As well as team training, our expert coaching team will provide you with individual guidance on technique, training plans, conditioning, and equipment in order to support your individual development.
-
RADS is a structured archery training program

-
RADS is an inclusive and diverse team
-
RADS is NOT for complete beginners. If you're new to archery, check out our Beginner Archery League, or get in touch with your local club.
-
RADS is NOT a leasurely shoot. Training sessions are structured, and archers are expected to participate in training drills & exercises.
-
RADS is NOT an elitist cult. Most archers in the program have started as rookies and worked their way up!

The monthly fee is $315 per month. This is equivalent to $73 per week, or about $8.60 per hour if you come to all training sessions...
We suggest that if you can come at least once per week regularly, then it's good value.
